School & District Purchase Orders

Ordering for a school district? Here's exactly how it works.
MRD works with public school districts across the country. We understand that district purchasing runs on approved vendors, purchase orders, and specific paperwork - not one-click checkout.

Becoming an Approved Vendor

If your billing department allows purchases directly from vendor websites, you can order straight from our site — the same way any customer would. Some districts are set up this way and place their orders online each year without additional paperwork.

  1. Vendor Setup

Check whether Montessori Research & Development is already on your district’s approved vendor list. If we are, skip to step 2. If not, email your vendor packet to orders@montessorird.com and we’ll complete and return it.

    Request our W-9
  2. Request a Quote

Browse our catalog and add the items you need to your cart. Instead of checking out, select Request a Quote. Your list comes straight to us, and we’ll prepare a formal quote your purchasing office can attach to a requisition.

If your school is tax exempt, email your exemption certificate with your quote request so we can apply it before the quote is issued.

  3. Send Us Your Purchase Order

Once your PO is approved and issued, email it to orders@montessorird.com. Reference your quote number so we can match it up quickly.

  4. We Ship and Invoice

We fulfill your order and send an invoice with Net 30 terms. No payment is required up front.

Renewed InterestProduct: Volcano Parts, Elementary

My students have a renewed interest in volcanoes with several going on now, in particular the one in Iceland. After researching some information on the volcano, they were eager to refresh their knowledge and go busy with these cards, The ended up creating an atlas of active volcanoes. It was great to see them utilize the materials this way. Great product. Thank you!
